What is changing on Friday, 31 July 2026

Effective Friday, 31 July 2026, Highgate Branch operations will transition into the Guys Hill Branch of the National People’s Co-operative Bank of Jamaica Limited.

This means that members who previously used the Highgate location will be served through the Guys Hill Branch, while still having access to the wider National PC Bank network and online banking services.

The merger is part of the Bank’s continued effort to serve members in a clear, practical, and dependable way. The aim is to maintain access to the services members depend on while supporting a more connected branch experience.

Members do not need to open new accounts because of this change. Existing accounts will remain with National PC Bank and will continue to be available through the channels outlined below.

Your account remains fully accessible

Members are encouraged to continue using the banking option that is most convenient for them. Account access will remain available in several ways.

  • Online through the Bank’s website

Members may access National PC Bank services online at https://www.npcbankonline.com/login.

  • At the Guys Hill Branch

Members will no longer be able to visit the Guys Hill Branch for in-person service following the merger date.

  • At any other National PC Bank branch

Members may also visit any other National PC Bank branch across Jamaica for assistance with eligible banking services.

This means that the Highgate Branch to Merge with Guys Hill Branch Effective July 31 2026 change does not remove member access to accounts. It provides a new primary branch location for operations while keeping the wider Bank network available.

What members can expect during the transition

The Bank is committed to making the transition as smooth as possible. Members should continue to monitor official communication from National PC Bank and contact the Bank directly with any questions about their accounts or services.

During the changeover, members can expect continued support with general account access, branch-related enquiries, and guidance on the most convenient way to complete transactions.

Members are encouraged to plan ahead for any in-branch needs close to the transition date. For example, if a member usually visits the Highgate Branch for regular transactions, the Guys Hill Branch will become the direct service point after the merger takes effect.

Online access remains available

Members who use online services may continue to access the Bank through https://www.npcbankonline.com/login.

Online access offers a convenient way to stay connected to banking services without visiting a branch. This may be especially useful for members who live outside the immediate Guys Hill area, travel often, or prefer to check information before visiting in person.

Members should always use the official website address when accessing online services. If unsure about any message, link, request, or banking instruction, contact National PC Bank directly before taking action.

For security, members should avoid sharing personal account information, passwords, or verification details with anyone who is not an authorised representative of the Bank.

In-person service will continue at Guys Hill

The Guys Hill Branch will serve as the receiving branch for Highgate Branch operations after the merger date.

Members who value face-to-face service may continue to receive assistance in person at Guys Hill. This includes members who prefer to speak directly with Bank representatives, complete branch-based transactions, or seek guidance on account-related matters.

The Bank understands that branch relationships matter. Many members are accustomed to familiar service, familiar routines, and trusted support. National PC Bank remains committed to treating every member with respect and care throughout the transition.

The same member-first approach will guide the continued service experience at Guys Hill and across the wider National PC Bank branch network.

Members may also visit any other National PC Bank branch

Members are not limited to the Guys Hill Branch. Where convenient, members may visit any other National PC Bank branch for eligible services.

This is especially helpful for members who work, study, travel, or conduct business in another parish or community. The Bank’s branch network remains available to support members based on their needs and location.

Before visiting a branch for a specific service, members may contact the Bank to confirm any requirements, documents, or steps needed. This can help reduce delays and ensure the visit is as efficient as possible.
